Iron Within Coins LLC designs and produces custom challenge coins, recognition coins and engraved medallions. Designed in Texas, USA, struck by mint partners we have vetted and stayed with.
A challenge coin is a strange product. It has no function. Nobody needs one. And yet people carry the same coin in the same pocket for a decade, and hand it to someone at exactly the right moment, and that moment is the entire point.
That is a hard thing to get right and an easy thing to get wrong. Relief too shallow and the design turns to mush. Enamel in the wrong place and it chips in a month. A flat edge and it feels like a keychain token. Most people ordering a coin are doing it once, for something that matters, and have no way of knowing any of that before the box arrives.
So we do the part you cannot: we tell you what will and will not work before you pay, we draw the artwork for free, and we do not strike a single coin until you have seen a proof and said yes in writing. If the finished coins do not match that proof, we remake them on us.
We keep the tooling for every job we run, which means a reorder three years later comes back matching the originals instead of close-but-not-quite.

The proof is free and so is the artwork
Most of our competitors quote a die charge and an art fee, then discount them to look generous. We simply do not charge them. What you are quoted per coin is what you pay.
You talk to the person handling your job
No ticket queue, no rotating rep. One person takes your order from the first email to the tracking number, and answers on evenings when a ceremony date is close.
We say no to the wrong coin
If a 3D relief will lose your detail, or a hard enamel will crack on that shape, we will tell you before you pay instead of after you unbox 500 of them.
Original artwork, cleanly owned
We draw your emblem instead of borrowing someone else's mark, and we will not reproduce a trademark or official insignia without written authorization. It keeps your program out of trouble.
